GSM
AQuick answer
Grams per square meter: the metric measure of paper weight (roughly 250-300 GSM for scratch cards).
GSM (grams per square meter) is the metric measure of paper weight and thickness. Standard scratch-off cards run about 250-300 GSM, which corresponds to roughly 12pt-16pt in the US point system; our 280gsm blue-core security stock sits in that range. Heavier GSM feels more premium but pushes mailing pieces into oversize postage rates.
